Sometimes you just have to make a grand escape to shake things up! While creating this painting I was very influenced by Japanese handmade papers and textiles, with their sophisticated translucent layers and textures. In Tokyo, I went to a good number of paper and stationery shops and felt like a child in a candy shop! Size: 31.5″ in diameter. sold.
