lost in the olive grove – sold

Meandering through the fragrant olive groves of the Mediterranean was one of my favorite pass times as a child. When olive season would come around I would watch with curiosity as the older folks came batting the olives off the trees with sticks & gathering them in baskets. This painting is an homage to André Derain & the Fauvists with all their marvelous use of blues & reds. Size: 30″ x 30″.
