the flower sellers of kashmir – sold

This is a small reflection of my childhood visits to Kashmir. The rivers of Kashmir in those days were filled with boats selling flowers of every color. The pattern in this painting, illuminated in gold, is inspired by Kashmiri traditional patterns often painted on papier-mâché. Size: 20″ x 20″.
